- 4 tbsp Butter, unsalted
- 0.75 c Parmesan cheese, grated
- 0.5 c Yellow onion, diced
- 3 tbsp Garlic, minced
- 1.5 tsp Salt
- 0.333 c White wine
- 4 c Vegetable stock, or broth
- 12 oz Orzo Pasta
- 1 tsp Ground Pepper

1. Melt 4 Tablespoons of butter in the skillet on medium-low heat. Add in the onion and a pinch of salt until the onion is translucent
2. Add the garlic, red pepper flakes and ground pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
3. Deglaze the pan by adding the wine and scraping any bits off the bottom. Let simmer for 1 minute.
4. Add vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
5. Once boiling, add the orzo to the skillet and cook according to the package directions.
6. When you have 5 minutes left on the orzo, add the broccoli. Once the broccoli is tender, take the pan off the heat and stir in the parmesan cheese.
7. add additional salt and pepper if needed.
