- 4 lb beef brisket
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 White onion, medium, chopped
- 5 clove Garlic, crushed
- 1 Jalapeño, finely chopped
- 2 c whole canned tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tbsp Dried thyme
- 1 tsp Salt, or to taste
- 3 c beef bone broth
- red onions
- Green onions, thinly sliced
- Avocado, sliced
- Sour cream

Preparing the Chuck Roast
1. If you find excess fat on the chuck roast, slice it off with a sharp knife.
2. Make 1 inch cubes and generously sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
3. In a dry pan, start frying the cubes until they turn golden brown.
Using the Slow Cooker
1. Add all the ingredients listed above to a slow cooker.
2. Let it slow cook on stew settings for 4 hours.
3. If you don’t have a slow cooker, use a cast iron pan or a Dutch oven.
4. Place it in the oven for 3-4 hours at 300 degrees F.

1. Once cooked, the meat should be tender and all the ingredients should be well incorporated.
2. Enjoy it with your favorite toppings.
