- 0.5 Yellow onions, chopped
- 1.5 tsp Adobo seasoning
- 8 American cheese slices
- 1 12-roll package dinner rolls
- Iceberg lettuce
- Tomato, thinly sliced
- Mayo
- Ketchup

Preparation of the skillet
1. Preheat a large cast iron skillet or griddle with the neutral oil.
Adding the beef patties and onion
1. Add the beef patties and onion to the skillet.
2. Season the burgers with a sprinkling of adobo seasoning.
3. Cook until the burgers are browned on one side, about 4-5 minutes.
Chopping and cooking the beef and onion
1. Begin chopping up the burger into small pieces using the flat end of a metal spatula.
2. Gradually, fold the onions into the beef.
3. Continue cooking until all the beef is completely browned and the onions are translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
Forming the beef/onion mixture and adding cheese
1. Push the beef/onion mixture into a rectangle the size of the bun slab.
2. Lay the 6 slices of American cheese over the meat and allow it to melt for 1-2 minutes.
Transferring the beef mixture to the rolls
1. Transfer the cooked cheesy beef mixture onto the bottom half of the dinner rolls using a large spatula. This may take two or more transfers.
Serving the sliders
1. When ready to serve, top the sliders with the remaining cheese slices, lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, and finally, the top half of the dinner rolls.
2. Serve immediately.
