Banana Bread
- 1.5 c mashed bananas
- 1 Egg
- 0.5 c Coconut oil, melted, or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 c Flour, all purpose or gluten free
- 0.75 c light brown sugar, or coconut sugar
- 0.5 c Cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- pinch sea salt, optional
- 0.75 c dark chocolate chips

1. First, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a bread loaf pan with parchment paper.
Mixing the Ingredients
1. In a mixing bowl, add mashed bananas, egg, melted coconut oil and vanilla. Stir to combine.
2. Then, add in flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and sea salt. Stir to combine.
3. Fold in chocolate chips.
Transferring and Baking
1. Transfer batter to the lined loaf pan. Spread into an even layer.
2. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, until toothpick inserted comes out with only moist crumbs.
Final Step
1. Finally, remove from oven. Allow bread to fully cool before slicing.
