- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 Yellow onion, diced
- 3 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 package sliced mushrooms
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 1 c beef broth
- 1 c Heavy cream
- 0.333 c Sour cream
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 0.5 tsp beef bouillon powder
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 0.5 tsp Dried thyme
- Salt
- Pepper
- Smoked paprika
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder

Preparation of Beef and Vegetables
1. Heat olive oil in a large pan.
2. Sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
3. Move to the side and add in the ground beef.
4. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika and cook until no pink remains.
5. Mix the beef in with the onions and garlic.
6. Drain some of the grease then add in the mushrooms and butter.
7. Sauté for about 5 minutes.
8. Add in the dried thyme and stir for a minute.
9. Then add in the flour and cook it down for a few minutes to remove the flour taste.
Adding Broth and Seasonings
1. Pour in the beef broth and deglaze the pan with a wooden spoon.
2. Stir in the heavy cream.
3. Then add in the Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard and beef bouillon powder.
4. Season to taste, I added a little salt, pepper, garlic powder and smoked paprika.
5. Reduce the heat and allow this to simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
6. Remove the pot from the heat then stir in the sour cream.
Serving Instructions
1. Serve this over the egg noodles or you can mix the noodles directly in the pot.
2. Garnish it with fresh parsley and enjoy.
