- 8 baby bananas
- 2 Tbs Unsalted butter
- 3 Tbs Maple syrup
- 0.33333333333333331 cup dark rum
- Vanilla ice cream

1. Place a nonstick pan over medium heat.
2. When hot add the butter, when foaming subsides add the bananas and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side.
3. Add maple syrup and cook for 2 to 3 minutes basting.
4. Remove from heat, add the rum and flambe.
5. Cook till flames subside, do not shake the pan. baste the bananas to coat.
6. Divide between 4 plates along with sauce, spoon ice cream over and serve.
