Banana Bread
- 0.75 c Brown sugar
- 0.333 c apple butter
- 2 Eggs
- 1.5 c mashed ripe bananas
- 0.333 c water
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon
- 1.667 c All purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.25 tsp Baking powder
- 2 tbsp Turbinado sugar

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
Creating the Wet Mix
1. Thoroughly whisk sugar, apple butter, eggs and water in a medium large bowl.
2. Then add the mashed bananas, vanilla extract, and cinnamon and whisk to incorporate.
Preparing the Dry Mix
1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder.
Combining the Mixes
1. Add the dry ingredients to the wet in 3 portions and use a spoon to mix just until it comes together.
2. Be careful not to over mix.
Pouring and Baking
1. Pour batter into loaf pan and sprinkle turbinado sugar on top.
2. Do this right before placing in the oven, or the sugar will sink and you won’t get the sugary crust on top.
3. Place in the oven and bake for about 40-55 minutes. Depends on how hot your oven is and how done you like it.
