- 1 tbsp Avocado oil, or cooking oil of choice
- 0.5 c Onions, chopped
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Healthy Rican Sofrito
- 1 tbsp vegetarian bouillon
- 0.25 c jasmine or white rice
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 tsp Healthy Rican Sazón
- 2 cod fish
- 0.25 bunch Cilantro, chopped
- 1 large yautia
- 4 c water, or as needed
- 1 tsp Healthy Rican Adobo

Directions

Preparation of Ingredients
1. Bring a large pot on high/medium heat.
2. Quickly add the oil, onion, garlic, sofrito, and bouillon.
3. Stir fry until the sofrito releases its aroma and the ingredients are mixed well.
4. Add the rice, tomato paste, sazon, fish, cilantro, root vegetables, and water. Allow for the liquid to come to a boil.
5. Mix well, and add the adobo or salt and pepper to taste.
6. Try the liquid to make sure it’s to your liking.
7. Add additional seasonings if preferred at this time.
Cooking Process
1. Cook on medium heat until the vegetables and rice are completely cooked through. Around 15-20 minutes.
