Ingredients

Main Ingredients
- 0.5 kg goat meat
- 2 Onions, large
- 8 clove Garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 inch Ginger, julienne cut
- 0.5 c Cooking oil
- 0.333 c Yogurt
- 1 tbsp fenugreek dry leaves
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chili
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 3 green chili
Whole Spices aka "garam masala"
- 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 2 black cardamom
- 4 Cloves
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 inch cinnamon stick

Directions

Preparation of Ingredients
1. In a pot, pour cooking oil and once it’s hot add ginger and garlic.
2. Fry until golden brown.
3. Remove and then add the onions.
4. Once that’s golden brown too, remove from the oil. Set it aside.
Cooking the Meat
1. In the same oil add the meat.
2. Cook until it’s slightly cooked and changes color.
3. Now add the powder spices.
4. Mix well and let it cook on a medium heat.
Blending and Adding the Paste
1. While that’s cooking, add yogurt and fried onions, ginger and garlic to the blender.
2. Make a paste and then add it to the meat.
3. Mix it and make sure it’s evenly coated to the meat before adding in the water.
Final Cooking Steps
1. Now cook it for 45 minutes or until meat is almost tender.
2. You can also use a pressure cooker for faster cooking time.
3. Then goes in the potatoes.
4. Let that cook with lid on for 15 minutes.
5. Finally sprinkle some fenugreek leaves for the aroma and few whole green chili.
Serving Suggestions
1. Enjoy it with fresh salad and boiled rice.
