Directions

Preparation of Potato
1. Peel the skin from the potato and cut it into 1-inch thick slices.
2. Bring a pot of water to boil and boil the potato slices until they are soft and fork-tender.
3. Cut the boiled potato into chunks, then mash the cooked potato with a masher until smooth. Add milk, mayo, salt, ground black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
Make Potato Balls
1. Using an ice cream scoop, take a small amount of mashed potato and form a ball with your hands.
2. Flatten the center of the potato ball then place a cheese cube in the middle. Wrap the potato mixture tightly around the cheese with your hands, forming a round and smooth potato ball.
Coating and Frying
1. Place all purpose flour, egg, and bread crumbs into 3 separate bowls. Dip each potato ball first in flour, then egg, and finally bread crumbs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
2. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (if necessary). Place the coated potato cheese balls in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
Serve
1. Plate the potato cheese balls and sprinkle paprika over the top. Serve with ketchup on the side, if desired.
2. Enjoy!
