- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 cups Walnuts, chopped
- pinch nutmeg powder
- 4 cardamom seeds
- 4 cups dry milk
- pinch Salt

Directions

Preparation
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place all the ingredients in a deep baking dish. Leave a bunch of walnuts on the side for the topping. Make sure the dish has extra height as the ingredients will expand while baking and will spill over.
Baking
1. Once you place the baking pan in the oven, keep mixing it every 10-15 minutes for the next hour and half to two hours. Use a silicone spatula. You want the consistency to be thick and chunky. Not too runny as it won’t hold. It will harden a bit more once completely cooled.
Post-Baking
1. Once it’s out of the oven, place it in a parchment paper lined container to cool off. However, immediately add the chopped walnuts to the top and press it down or it won’t stick later. Now slice/ decorate it with some rose petals. It will stay fresh in the fridge for weeks.
