- 1 stalk scallion whites
- 1 long hot pepper
- 5-8 Thai chili peppers
Beef Marinade
- 1 tbsp Light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 0.25 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Oil

Preparing the flank steak
1. Cut the flank steak into thin slices and marinate with the listed seasonings.
2. Cover and let it sit in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Preparing the beef
1. Heat 1 cup of oil until hot and add the beef.
2. Fry until brown and slightly crispy.
Preparing the vegetables and curry paste
1. Leave about 2 tbsp of oil in the wok and add garlic, onion, scallion whites, and peppers.
2. Stir for a minute until the onion starts to turn translucent.
3. Add Thai red curry paste and mix well.
Final steps
1. Add the beef back and drizzle with chili oil.
