Taco in a bag
- 1 romaine
- 1 Small onion, diced
- 2 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 lb Ground beef, lean
- 3 Roma tomatoes, diced, for serving
- 3 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 2.5 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 c water
- 1 c Mexican cheese
- pickled jalapeños
- Sour cream, for serving

Preparation of Ground Beef
1. In a large pan or pot over medium-low heat, add a tablespoon of oil and garlic.
2. Saute until slightly softened before adding in onions and your ground beef.
3. If you're not using lean ground beef, you will need to drain some excess fat here, using a paper towel.
4. Add in chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
5. Break up the ground beef using a spatula or meat chopper, to ensure there are no large clumps.
6. Add water, bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer on low for 8-10 minutes or until meat is cooked through.
Adding Cheese and Serving
1. Evenly sprinkle on your cheese and cover for a minute or until cheese is melted.
2. Serve in your favorite bag of chips and top with pickled onions or jalapenos, tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream.
