- 1 plantain
- mexican white cheese
- 0.5 c meat
- 3 tbsp melted butter

Preparing the Plantains
1. Start by cutting the ends off the plantains.
2. Then make a slice through the skin to remove it easily.
3. Place in air fryer basket and air fry at 400F for 7 minutes.
4. Once done, brush on melted butter and air fry for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Flattening and Filling the Plantains
1. While it is still hot, place the plantain between two large pieces of plastic wrap.
2. Then get a large cutting board and smash the plantain until flattened.
3. Add on your chunk of white cheese and meat of choice.
4. Then fold as shown in the video.
Air Frying the Sandwiches
1. Add parchment paper to the air fryer.
2. Place the sandwiches inside and brush with melted butter.
3. Air fry at 375F for 10-12 minutes. Note*** All air fryers cook differently so adjust temperatures and times as needed.
Serving the Sandwiches
1. Cut in half and enjoy.
