- 6 corn cobs
- 0.5 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 125 g vegetable fat
- 45 g Butter
- 0.25 cup Sugar
- pinch Salt flower

1. Clean the corn cobs of their styles and husks. Wash and reserve the husks to wrap the tamales later on. Remove the seeds and blend in a blender or food processor with cinnamon, and baking powder. Blend until you get a smooth puree.
2. With a mixer or wooden spoon, cream the fat, butter, sugar and salt until you get a smooth texture with a pale color. Stir in the corn mixture and whisk until completely incorporated.
3. Assemble the tamales by spooning two to three tbsp of mixture into the corn husks.
4. Wrap and cook in a steamer for 30 to 45 minutes or until cooked in the center and they come off easily from the husk.
5. Share and enjoy.
