Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Shrimp, peeled raw, large or x-large
- 2 clove Garlic, minced
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Butter
- dried parsley
Sauce Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 0.5 tsp Sugar
- 0.25 cup water
- pinch Salt, to taste

Preparation of Shrimp
1. Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel. Season them with salt and pepper and set aside.
Sauce Preparation
1. In a small bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients and mix well.
Cooking the Shrimp
1. In a large non-stick sauté pan or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 1 minute without moving them.
2. Flip the shrimp and cook for another minute or until they are pink and opaque. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
Final Steps
1. In the same pan, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add in minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
2. Pour in the prepared sauce, then return the cooked shrimp to the pan. Toss the shrimp until they are evenly coated in the sauce and the sauce has thickened slightly.
3. Plate the shrimp and garnish with dried parsley on top if desired.
4. Serve warm & enjoy.
