- 7oz firm tofu
- 0.5 c Cornstarch, for breading
- 0.25 c Oil, for frying
Spicy Sticky Sauce
- 1 tbsp gochujang paste
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp miso paste
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp Tamari, or soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 3 tbsp Maple syrup
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Preparing the Tofu
1. Start by pressing a block of firm tofu to remove any excess water.
2. Cut the tofu into equally-sized sticks.
3. Bread them in corn starch.
4. Coat with oil and fry in a pan or bake in the oven until crispy.
Preparing the Sauce
1. Blend all ingredients (but the sesame seeds).
2. Cook the sauce in a pan over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes until bubbles form and it starts to thicken.
3. Add toasted sesame seeds.
Final Steps
1. Add the fried tofu to the pan and toss until the tofu is coated in the sauce.
2. Finally, sprinkle some sesame seeds on top for added crunch and flavor.
3. This dish can be served with rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
