Ingredients

For the burger
- 1.5 cup Lentils, cooked in water
- 0.5 cup Carrot, grated
- 2 Tbs Tomato paste
- 2 Tbs Cilantro, washed, disinfected and chopped
- 1 Tbs Garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 0.5 tsp Ground cumin
- 0.5 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Fresh black pepper
- 2 Tbs Wheat flour
- 2 Tbs Olive oil
To serve
- 2 cup Red cabbage, sliced
- 1 Carrot, grated
- 2 Tbs Tahini
- 1 Limes, juiced
- 0.25 cup Cilantro, washed, disinfected and chopped
- pinch salt and pepper

Directions

For the burger
1. Place half of the lentils in a bowl and smash until you get a puree, add the rest of the lentils with carrot, tomato paste, cilantro, spices and flour. Mix together until you get a malleable paste. Heat the olive oil in a pan and cook the burgers until they are seared on both sides.
2. Keep warm to the side.
To serve
1. In a bowl, mix the cabbage, carrot, tahini, lime juice, cilantro, salt and pepper. Place on each bun a burger and some coleslaw.
2. Share and enjoy.
Tip
1. You can make the burger mix in a food processor, just pulse to prevent over-blending it, so it doesn’t turn too soft.
