You'll Need
- 1 roll out pie crust
- 4 Eggs
- 2 c Heavy cream
- 5 pieces of crispy bacon
- 1 Onion, sliced medium size
- 0.25 tsp Nutmeg
- 0.5 c Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 c Cheese, cut into small cubes - smoked gruyère

Preparing the Pie Crust
1. Roll pie dough out into a pie pan, and bake for 10 minutes on 450.
2. After 10 minutes lower oven temperature to 375.
Cooking the Bacon and Onions
1. Cook bacon until crispy.
2. Then remove all the bacon grease from the pan except 1 tablespoon.
3. Add in onions and sauté until translucent.
Preparing the Egg Mixture
1. Mix together your eggs, nutmeg, heavy cream and your salt and pepper.
Assembling and Baking the Pie
1. To the lightly cooked pie crust add your chopped up crispy bacon.
2. Add your cheese cubes.
3. Add your onions.
4. Add your parmesan cheese.
5. Then strain in your egg mixture.
6. Cook for 50 minutes at 375.
