- 1 Egg
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 0.25 tsp Baking soda
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.25 cup Sugar
- 2 cups Flour
- 1.75 cup Milk
- 0.25 cup melted butter
For Whipped Maple Butter
- 1 stick Butter, room temperature
- 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- 2 tsp Maple syrup

Directions

For the maple butter
1. In a mixer or using a hand held mixer, mix together the room temperature butter, powdered sugar & maple syrup.
2. Once mixed smooth transfer to a serving dish where it’s good on the counter for up to 2 days or in the fridge for 2 weeks.
For the pancake batter
1. Combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder & baking soda in a large bowl. Whisk well.
2. Add in your milk, egg, melted butter & vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
For cooking the pancakes
1. Preheat a non-stick pan or a griddle cooktop to 375 and then pour 1/4 cup of batter on the cooktop.
2. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side (once they start bubbling a lot on top is when I usually flip).
For serving
1. Serve with your maple butter and some syrup / fruit and enjoy!
