Preparing the Cake Mix
1. Mix your cake mix in separate bowls according to box measurements, but instead of water use cream and instead of oil use butter.
2. After you're done mixing, place batter in separate piping bags or ziploc bags and pipe them into your loaf pan.
3. Start with chocolate on the bottom, then alternate colors until you end up with chocolate on the top. Leave at least 2 inches of space from the tops of the edge of the pan.
4. Use a butter knife to do one pass of a zigzag pattern vertically and then one pass of a zigzag pattern horizontally.
5. Bake in the oven at 350° until a toothpick comes out of the center clean. About 30 minutes.
6. Let your cake cool completely for 15 minutes. Then I would suggest wrapping it and placing it into the freezer for 1 hour before slicing. This step will ensure that it stays together when slicing.
Preparing the Chocolate Topping
1. For the chocolate topping, mix powdered sugar, cocoa powder and cream together until you get a runny consistency. Slowly pour in the cream a little bit at a time. Mixing in between. You may not use all of the milk.
