- 9 oz iceberg lettuce
- 2 cans Mandarin oranges
- 1 lb Bacon, crumbled
- 0.5 lb Swiss cheese, grated
Sugared Almonds
- 0.5 c Butter, melted
- 0.5 c Granulated sugar
- 2 c sliced almonds
- 0.5 c Granulated sugar
- 0.5 c White vinegar
- 2 tbsp dried onion
- 2 tbsp Poppy seeds
- 1 tbsp dried mustard
- 0.5 tsp pink Himalayan salt
- 1 c Olive oil

For the salad
1. Grab a large salad bowl and add Romaine and iceberg lettuce.
2. Pour on Mandarin oranges, bacon, and cheese.
For the candied almonds
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
2. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and mix in sugar and almonds.
3. Lay out almond mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until evenly brown. Do not overcook.
For the dressing
1. In a medium/large jar or bowl, combine all dressing ingredients and mix well.
For the final steps
1. Top salad with candied almonds and dressing.
2. Mix salad well and serve.
