- 2 inches turmeric root
- 12 ounces Lemon juice
- Hot water, for serving
- Black pepper, for serving
- Honey, for serving

1. Peel the ginger and turmeric, if desired (not necessary). Then transfer them to a high-speed blender along with the lemon juice.
2. Blend until the mixture is smooth and bright colored. You can strain the mixture to make it smoother, if desired. Then pour into an ice-cube tray or molds of your choice. Freeze for at least 4 hours until solid.
3. When the cubes are frozen, dissolve in a cup with hot water, black pepper and honey, if desired and enjoy.
