Homemade Hamburger Helper Recipe (with Video)

Preparing the Meat
1. In a large hot saucepan, add your ground beef and ground turkey.
2. Cook until browned.
3. Remove the minced meat from the pan and put to the side.
Preparing the Vegetables
1. Add diced peppers, carrots, and onions to the pan and cook until translucent.
2. Season vegetables with a pinch of salt and pepper.
3. Add minced meat and mix in with the vegetables.
Preparing the Sauce
1. Add remaining seasonings, then the sofrito, and mix until well combined.
2. Add beef broth and heavy cream and let simmer.
3. Add in shredded cheese and cream cheese to mix and form your sauce.
Combining and Seasoning
1. Add in cavatappi pasta then mix until well combined.
2. Season with Old Bay and Sazon then mix until well combined.
Serving
1. Garnish with parsley, then serve and enjoy!
