- 7 tbsp Fish sauce
- 9 tbsp Brown sugar

- day old rice
- minced garlic
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- garlic flakes
- Scallions
- Egg

1. Cut your beef into small pieces usually 4 inches in size or to your preference.
2. Tenderize the beef.
3. Marinate the meat with the fish sauce and brown sugar.
4. Let the meat sit overnight in the fridge or for a couple of hours.
5. Turn your pan on to medium heat and oil it.
6. Cook your tapa until brown and caramelized - making sure it doesn’t burn, lower your heat if needed.
7. For the rice, add oil and mince garlic.
8. Add day old rice and let it get crispy.
9. Season the rice with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and garlic flakes.
10. Fry your egg how you like it.
11. Assemble your tapsilog (add more garlic flakes and scallions to garnish).
