Ingredients

Chicken Preparation
- 2 Chicken breast, pounded thinly
- 2 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Onion powder
- 2 tsp Black pepper
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 slices ham
- 2 Eggs
- 0.5 c Flour
- 0.5 c Panko
- 0.5 c Breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp Avocado oil
- 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
Cheese Sauce
- 0.5 stick Butter
- 1 c heavy whipping cream
- 1.5 c Chicken Broth
- 5 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 handful chopped parsley
Additional Items
- butcher string or toothpicks

Directions

Preparation of Chicken
1. Set your oven to 375°F to preheat.
2. On a cutting board, slice your chicken in half.
3. Use a piece of plastic or a zip lock bag to pound out your chicken till it is about 1/4 of an inch thick.
4. Season your chicken front and back with kosher salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
5. To your seasoned chicken add provolone cheese and ham.
6. Roll your chicken into bundles and wrap with butcher string or you can use toothpicks to keep the chicken bundles together. If you use toothpicks, use two to three so they will hold.
7. In three separate bowls, add whisked eggs, panko bread crumbs, and Italian seasoned bread crumbs.
8. Roll your bundles in the egg wash and then the panko bread crumb mixture.
9. Heat a skillet to medium heat and add avocado oil and butter.
10. Place each chicken bundle in the oil and brown on each side.
11. Remove the bundles and place them in an oven-safe baking dish and place them in the oven.
12. Cook your bundles until they're cooked through 165° F and the cheese is bubbly.
Preparation of Cheese Sauce
1. For your cheese sauce, add butter to a small skillet set over medium heat.
2. Once your butter is bubbling, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
3. Then add whipping cream and chicken broth.
4. Let your sauce reduce and thicken until there are tight bubbles. Then add in your fresh parsley.
Serving
1. Once your chicken cordon bleu is finished, top it off with your garlic cream sauce.
2. Enjoy!
