- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 0.5 c packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp Coarse sea salt
- 0.5 c Heavy cream
- 1.5 tsp Vanilla extract

1. Melt the butter, brown sugar, salt & heavy cream together in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer.
2. Let simmer for 4-5 minutes while scraping down the edges, don’t over simmer or it will lose syrup consistency and become more like a candy consistency.
3. Turn off the heat and add the vanilla extract and stir it in well before transferring to a jar or bowl to cool on the counter for 1 hour.
4. Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
