- 1 Apple
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- 1 small egg
- 0.5 c Granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Remove the apple core and slice into 6-8 ¼-inch thick slices. Set aside.
3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet, and slice into 12-16 strips. Depending on how many apple slices you have, you’ll want double the puff pastry strips.
4. Use one strip of puff pastry to wrap around one apple slice and then a second strip to wrap around the other way. Set on the prepared baking dish. Brush the egg wash on both sides of the wrapped apples.
5. Bake in the oven until golden brown and puffed, 12-14 minutes.
6. Meanwhile combine the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
7. When the puffed apples are done baking, immediately roll them in the cinnamon sugar on both sides and set aside on a platter. Serve on their own or with vanilla ice cream.
