Brussels Sprouts
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 2 tsp Olive oil
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp sea salt
- balsamic vinegar glaze
Ahi Tuna Steaks
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1.5 tbsp Hot honey, or regular
- 0.5 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper
- 2 ahi tuna steaks
- 0.5 c Sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp Kosher salt
- 2 tsp Avocado oil, or any high-heat oil

For the Brussels sprouts
1. Preheat air fryer to 360F.
2. Wash Brussels sprouts, trim off the ends, and cut in half.
3. Spray with olive oil and season with black pepper and sea salt.
4. Place inside the basket of the air fryer and cook for 6 minutes.
5. After 6 minutes, toss the sprouts to help them cook evenly and cook for an additional 7 minutes until they are very crispy.
6. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar glaze.
For the tuna steak
1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, cayenne, and black pepper to make a marinade.
2. Place tuna steaks inside a plastic bag and pour marinade inside.
3. Allow the marinade to coat the tuna evenly and rest inside your fridge for 15 minutes (longer if you can).
4. Remove from bag (save the marinade to drizzle on later) and sprinkle sesame seeds on top and create an even coat throughout the whole tuna steak.
5. Pat down with your hands to help the seeds stay in place and sprinkle salt on top.
6. Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil to the hot pan.
7. Once the oil is hot, sear the tuna for 1.5 minutes per side.
8. Repeat until all sides are cooked and then remove from heat and allow it to rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes.
9. Slice into strips and enjoy with the Brussels sprouts on the side!
