Directions

Prepare the sandwich
1. Prepare two slices of bread and trim off the crust.
2. Spread a generous amount of Nutella or peanut butter on one slice. Place the second slice on top to create a sandwich. Make sure to lessen the amount of Nutella or peanut butter near the edges to avoid overflowing.
3. Cut the sandwich into 4 small, identical cubes.
Prepare the egg mixture & combine
1. In a shallow bowl, add egg, milk, and a pinch of salt. Beat the mixture until well combined.
2. Soak the sandwich cubes in the egg mixture. Make sure all sides are coated evenly.
Cook the toast
1. Heat up 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich cubes in the pan.
2. Reduce the heat to medium-low and pan-fry the two larger sides for 1-2 minutes each until golden brown.
3. Sear the 4 edges for about 15 seconds each until they become crispy and nicely browned as well.
Serve
1. Plate the toasts and add your favorite fruits on top.
2. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk generously over the toast and fruits.
3. Sift a thin layer of powdered sugar over the top for extra sweetness, if desired. Enjoy!
